The Swedish independent production company Bob Film Sweden recently produced the television dramedy serie (6x30 minutes) together with director Andrea Östlund. frid & frid has written and produced the music for Coacherna during the winter 2011.

The dramedy coacherna (the coaches) is starring Lena Endre, Wanna Rosenberg and Cecilia Frode and is broadcasted right now on the swedish national television SVT. We had a great time making this music. Enjoy!

Coacherna is nominated for the Festival de Télèvision de Monte Carlo for best comedy.

Platina Jazz Orchestra to Japan!

Next week Karl heads over to japan to do a small tour with the platina jazz orchestra. Lead by Rasmus Faber, a bunch of swedish jazz musicians will do their own interpretations of animé hits. During the tour we will perform six concerts on billboard live in osaka and tokyo.

New location - music production studio and project room

We recently moved our studio to a new location. The space holds a music production studio, an office and a project room. It is simply beautiful and promising.
The project room has been founded with the ambition to explore and question temporal expression in our time. We will invite individuals and groups to explore and collaborate around well defined concepts. To develope the project room, we have set up a great team. In march 2012 we will announce the program for 2012.

new commissions for pär frid

pär has received quiet a few new classical commissions lately. For example he is writing on a new pieces for the stockholm saxophone quartett, the sonanza ensemble and the new european ensemble. he is also working on new material for a 25 minute double violin concerto to be performed in 2013 with Stockholm New Chamber Orchestra and Anna & Eva Lindal as soloists.
