PÄR

With a background as a classical composer Pär tends to work beyond the conventional separation of musical genres, art forms and intellectual tasks. His classical compositions have been played throughout Europe and as a film composer he has score prize-winning feature films and drama series, documentaries and commercials.

Besides focusing on being a composer and CEO at
Frid & Frid, Pär also lends his mind and heart to IP development and music business development. He also produced award-nominated documentaries.

Way back Pär studied in Göteborg, CNMAT UC Berkeley, and in Paris at The Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse and at the research institute IRCAM (Centre Georges Pompidou) with full scholarship from the French State and the Swedish Royal Academy of Music in 2003-04.

Today Pärs musical catalog counts around 400 works, pushing musical, esthetical and technical boundaries. One of Pär’s pieces - Déjà vu, over and over again - released on the album Unheard of Again, Phono Suecia, won the Swedish Grammy Award in 2010.

His latest works drawn from rather sophisticated approaches of spectral tracking of acoustic signals deriving from endangered bird singing will form a new album including works commissioned by the conductor Christian Karlsen for symphony orchestra to be recorded in the summer of 2022.
